Composing Your Wedding Invitation Invitations should contain certain basic information: - Introductory message, depending upon who is issuing the invitation -Mr. And Mrs. William James Taylor request the honor of your presence at the wedding of their daughter. -Miss Emily Johnson and Mr. Michael Taylor request the honor of your presence at their marriage - Date of wedding - Time of wedding - Location of wedding ceremony (place name and address) |

Response Cards should include the following: - Request for response ("Please respond" or "RSVP") - Date by which the response should be received ("by [or "no later then"] June 5, 2001) - Space for title and name of responding party ("M _____________________") - Blank to fill in number of guests attending or not attending (____ will attend ____ will not attend) - Menu choices for reception (if applicable) |
